Description Mathematics is often called the language of the universe and it’s common for people to say that it’s present in nature. But would the math still be there if humans hadn’t discovered it? This is a course in the history of mathematics and science. We will learn about the lives and discoveries of mathematicians and scientists from antiquity through today and see how the culture, religion and philosophy of these thinkers influenced their perspective and shaped how we see numbers now.

Prerequisite Pr-algebra math skills or above. 
Homework None.
Parents Parents may attend or not as they wish.
Material/Lab Fee None.
